Forty-five minutes later, I glanced at the clock and hurried to shower.
What seemed like a mere five minutes,
was actually a full forty-five spent scrolling through my phone.
Yes, forty-five minutes dedicated solely to navigating that device!
The phone is a double-edged sword; it’s incredibly useful,
allowing us to connect with family and friends, conduct job interviews,
and research various topics.
It’s a tool for entertainment, education, and even managing finances.
Unfortunately, it also distances us from our loved ones, particularly those nearby.
I always remind my daughter to carry her phone when she goes out alone.
Despite this, I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve exclaimed, “Put the phone down!”
